Theme

The game grid has spectacular art within it and behind it. The background displays a castle sitting on a protruding cliffside. On the right side of the game grid there are waterfalls and lush greenery, and even tall mountains in the distance. This land is presumably a magical land, as Merlin exists within it along with other wizards, witches, knights and kings. If you're a fan of any sort of fantasy themed game, or historical game, you'll like the setup and design of Merlin's Riches immensely. The animations featured in this game are high quality and smoothly transition between features. Like most RealTime gaming slots, there is a control panel located at the bottom of the game grid where you can adjust your bet or adjust the speed of the reels. You can also manually spin or auto spin, if you prefer.

Special Features

This game has a buy feature, a gamble feature, a free games feature and an additional bonus feature! Let's start by discussing the buy feature. This allows you to directly purchase 10 free games for 35x your bet. The gamble feature is triggered after you activate the free games feature, and allows the player to win up to 50 free games. You can choose to collect the current amount of games you've accumulated or risk some of them by pressing the gamble button and potentially winning more free games.

To activate the free games in the first place, you'll need to land three or more scatter symbols on the game board. If you do so, you'll receive 10 free spins. The free spins can be retriggered. There are also 1-3 stacked wild symbols that will be located on random reels each spin during the free games. Last but not least, the bonus feature is activated when you land at least three bonus symbols. The game board shifts from a 5x4 grid to a 5x3 grid and you'll get three bonus spins. Every spin, all symbol positions are regenerated and every symbol position will display an empty symbol, a bonus or a 1+ spin symbol. The meter accumulates the number of bonus symbols that appear during the bonus feature and every five more bonus symbols you collect will increase the meter.
