Ghost Ship Slots

Ghost Ship Slots

Sunken treasure awaits, but it's all being guarded by the ghost captain Ghost Ship slots. His ship hit the stormy seas and didn't make it back, but his loss ends up being your gain.

This 25-payline game is played on five reels, and it takes just 25 cents per spin to get started. What awaits you is impressive. It's dark, just as dark as the bottom of the sea would be, and there's plenty of seaweed on the symbols to ensure you know this ship's been underwater for a long time.

The Paytable

The game's paytable is a collection of low-paying symbols that require at least three matching symbols before you'll win a prize of 5, 25, or 100 coins for the 9, 10, Jack, and Queen or 5, 30, and 150 for the King and Ace. The following symbols pay more and need just two matches on a payline.

  • Mermaid Statue - 2, 10, 40, or 250 coins
  • Cannon - 2, 15, 50, or 500 coins
  • Treasure Chest - 3, 20, 100, or 1,000 coins
  • Bell - 5, 100, 250, or 1,250 coins
  • Ghost Captain - 10, 200, 500, or 2,500 coins

The Pirate Ship Scatter triggers the bonus feature as long as it appears three or more times. In addition to the free spins it awards, you also win 2 or 100 times your bet.

For our 10-spin test, we set the line bet to 25 cents and activated all 25 paylines. That put our bet at $6.25 per spin and 10 spins cost us $62.50. This is what happened next.

  • 1st Spin - $6.25
  • 6th Spin - $1.25
  • 8th Spin - $3.75
  • 10th Spin - -$14

The Bonus Features

Three, four, or five Pirate Ship symbols trigger the free spins bonus round. You get two free spins for each Ghost Captain or Pirate Ship on the reels. If there are three Pirate Ships and two Ghost Captain wilds, you get 10 free spins. During free spins, you may end up with a 2x or 10x multiplier if four or five respective scatters trigger the bonus feature.

When the Ghost Captain appears, he may randomly fill the rest of that reel. The same random feature is possible with the Pirate Ship.

Ghost Ship slots has two progressive jackpots as well. These random jackpots are handed out from time to time after the reels stop spinning and winnings are calculated. A banner appears if you've won. At the time of this review, the Minor Jackpot was nearing $400 and the Major Jackpot was over $2,800.

Getting Started

Before you play, you have to place your bet on the 25 paylines. In this pirate-themed slot game, line bets start at a penny and go as high as $1, leading to a $25 max bet. Once you've made that decision, you can spin the reels using the spin button or by pressing your spacebar if you're on a computer. Autoplay is also available for up to 100 spins or the feature is triggered, your choice.

Play for fun or risk your cash and play for real money. The choice is yours, and you have $1,000 if you want to use demo play first. Ghost Ship slots is ready to enrich your coffers if you're willing to encounter the creepy ghost captain.
